Wednesday, February 6 is National Signing Day. Lumen Christi students who plan to play college sports will be gathering in the library at noon to sign to the schools they will be attending next fall. Student athletes from all types of sports such as football, golf, swimming, and basketball will be signing. Many students and parents will be attending to watch these successful athletes seal the deal with their big decision.

Some of the athletes who will be signing are Tanner Schnell, Allison Rand, Sarah Clark, Hillary Ziemba, Hannah Cavanaugh, and several more. Tanner Schnell will be signing for golf to Lawrence Tech. Allison Rand will be signing to the University of Tennessee for track and cross country. Sarah Clark will be a student athlete at Hillsdale College for swimming. Hillary Ziemba and Hannah Cavanaugh will both be attending Saint Mary’s College, Hillary for golf and Hannah for basketball.

All of these students should be proud of all of their academic and athletic accomplishments. This is a special day to celebrate all they have done and all that they will do in the future. They are the special type of people who work hard and put a lot of effort into what they do.
