Students from Lumen Christi High School are fundraising for their upcoming mission trip to Jamaica. According to organizer Mrs. Lienhart, they raise money by selling slushies, hosting dress-down days, and collecting donations from churches. Students also write letters to relatives and recycle pop cans. Each participant covers their plane ticket, while raised funds buy wood, food, and groceries for Jamaican communities. Mrs. Lienhart says the trip is life-changing and teaches compassion and cultural awareness.
