Lumen Cross Country was on a tear winning 7 meets in the regular season. Leading up to the regional meet they were ranked number two in the state. Lumen had not won the regional meet since 2012, but this year they had high hopes going into the race. They ended up winning the meet and put themselves in a good spot for the state meet.
The way the season had gone the Titans looked determined to make a mark at the state meet. Leading up to it the Titans had to deal with some sicknesses and small injuries. They did their best to get healthy and prepared for the meet. The Titans ended up finishing fourth at the state meet despite not being 100 percent. Although the outcome was not what they were hoping for, the Titans had a great year.
