The freshman Dylan Ferreira had a fabulous game against Maple Valley scoring four out of the nine goals that day. Dylan didn’t waste any time scoring two goals within the first five minutes and adding the rest on in the first half. Dylan not only scored four goals but scored one on a corner kick with 10 minutes to go in the first half. After Lumen’s rough season last year, Dylan looks to help improve that record and make a deep run in the playoffs.
Dylan has been impressive all season scoring twelve goals in just nine games. However, this has not been Dylan’s most impressive game, one came against the University of Liggett where he scored two goals in the first half. Dylan does a great job of slipping through defenders and taking long passes. Dylan is also not afraid to get his feet dirty, taking the ball away and dribbling past defenders.
Dylan has played such a big role in this Lumen Christi offense, scoring in just about every game and just about leading every game in goals. Dylan has had such a big impact on the team, everyone always has something good to say about the young Dylan and the fans love coming to his games to cheer him on. Here are some words that Zack Friend had to say about Dylan. “It’s different with Dylan on the team, he brings a special type of leadership and positivity. The energy that he brings at practice is the main reason for our success as a team. All together Dylan has brought us close together, just like brothers”, said the young Sophomore.
