Lumen Christi had some additions to the teaching staff. One of those additions to the staff was Mrs.Higgins, a Spanish teacher. I asked her a couple questions about Lumen, the students, staff and Lumen in general.
The first question was what has been the biggest change between the old school you taught at and lumen? She said, “The biggest change is faith, being able to share faith is really important. The students willingness to learn, at her old school they weren’t really participating in the learning, here at Lumen we’re trying.”
The second question was, how are you liking the staff and the students? She says, “I LOVE the staff we are a big family, feel like a family with each class the staff is really supportive.”
The last question I asked was, do you find it easier or harder to teach at Lumen? She said, “Easier because the attitude to learning makes it easy. Difficult because it’s more of a challenge because we are willing to learn.” Mrs. Higgins has been a great addition to Lumen Christi and we all welcome her!
