The Lumen Christi 2023-2024 school year saw the return of the Winter Formal. Due to the Homecoming not being formal this year, a lot of people saw this as the replacement for the dance. As a result, there have been some varied opinions about it.
A lot of people were very positive about the new change. Luke Knoll commented: “It was an exhilarating experience and I would be thrilled if they held the event next year.” Some people however, did have some suggestions to make it better. Zach Jaakkola says, “They need to get rid of the trivia, and I would suggest playing better music.”
Overall, it seems like everybody had a good time. I believe that it was a good decision to bring it back to our school. I am excited to see what they will do in regards to any changes or updates to the dance.
