In the early morning hours of the day, many students have different morning routines. Each is a reflection of the personalities and aspirations that characterize our rich community. We set out on a quest as the yearbook crew to capture these unique norms, hoping to show off our diverse community. Let’s take a look at the different ways people get ready before school.
The early light of the day is a starting point for the passionate athletes among us. Herb Brogan welcomes athletes to come into the weightroom before school while he hosts a group lift. Signing up for this vigorous workout will definitely test your discipline but the athletes around you will hold you accountable. On the other hand, the peaceful serenity of the morning can be a time for some to take a brisk walk or relax before going on their way to school. These brief day breaks can be a time for people to prepare for the vigorous tasks of the day ahead.
However, not every morning begins with the same intensity. Some of us like a more leisurely morning, sharing breakfast with family and perhaps reading the day’s news. These small communities of comfort and connection highlight a fundamental truth: despite our many interests and ambitions, we still maintain a connected community. We want to honor the variety of morning rituals, recognizing individuality that thrives within the bigger picture of our school community.
