The Oscars are back again this year. After last year’s appearance of The Oscars as an alternative to Prom, the National Honors Society has decided to hold this event again this year. The Oscars will take place on Saturday, February 26th, from 8-10 pm. This event is open for all juniors and seniors to attend. Tickets are $5 and will be available in the main office on February 7th. Tickets must be purchased in advance to attend.

The Dress code this year is Semi-Formal. Girls’ dresses should be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee. Dresses with plunging necklines, exposed cleavage, visible midriffs, and cutouts below the traditional bra line are not allowed. Spaghetti straps are fine as long as they follow the other rules listed here. Boys are required to wear full-length dress pants, dress shirt, and tie. Please follow these guidelines if you wish to attend. 

This year’s show will consist of various activities for the students to watch and enjoy.        Anyone a part of the student body is invited to participate by performing a talent or skit. If you are interested please contact Alexa Warner or Jesse Rehberg.
