Varsity:

The Varsity player of the week is….Paige Lefere! Paige plays as an outside hitter and had great stats for Week 5. Paige had 26 kills with .276% hitting efficiency, and also had 12 digs! Paige has an awesome attitude on and off the court. She is always cheering on her teammates, whether it is on the court or on the bench. She is very positive and always remembers to have fun during games. She is great at encouraging teammates and has great confidence! She is always willing to jump in when needed and will help her team get back in the game! Great job Paige!  

JV:

The JV player of the week is…Taylor Furnas! Taylor plays as a middle blocker and had an awesome game against Divine Child. Taylor had 3 blocks, 2 aces, and 5 kills. Divine Child was a tough team and Taylor gave it her all! She is always encouraging others and always knows how to cheer someone up. She loves to have fun and loves to cheer. She is one of the loudest on the bench and always has a great attitude on the court. Taylor is also a team captain. She does a great job at playing this role and is always working hard. She always shows up for her team when needed and is a great teammate all-around. Awesome job Taylor!

Freshman:

  The Freshman player of the week is…Brooke Verkade! Brooke plays as a middle blocker and has been playing great. She is very encouraging on and off the court. Her hits are fantastic and she’s also a great communicator. She knows how to bring energy to the court and play for her team. She is a great teammate and is always having fun. She is very positive and is always cheering others up. Her hard work really pays off. Nice job Brooke!
