The German classes this year have been getting a lot of practice with the language app, Duolingo. It is an app with a game-based approach which awards XP for each lesson learned and for each practice session. So far this year, sophomore Noah Anastasiadis has won the weekly XP challenge among all of the German students for each week of this school year. But last week, eigth-grader Sarah Anastasiadis, Noah’s sister, had decided it was about time for Noah’s reign to come to an end. In a weekend flurry of German practice, Sarah wrested away the weekly XP crown from brother Noah. A job well-done, Sarah!
